The Mac’s Performance Manufacturing shop has a NEW 2024 HAAS UMC-500 5-Axis CNC Milling Machine as well as three 3-axis CNC milling machines and one CNC lathe. These machines are generally dedicated to creating Pit Viper Racing Jack parts but can be available to manufacture custom parts to meet all your needs. With the addition of the new 5-Axis Machine, we will be able to approach all sorts of complex parts in shorter time frames with better accuracy.
The work we do is usually related to R&D projects that come through the engineering side and the affiliated company wants to prototype a concept within the engineering umbrella which allows them to make changes on the fly and get the right part made the first time. This is different and better than paying an engineer for a drawing and then taking that drawing to a machinist for a part based on the drawing. Working with the engineers and machinists under the same roof and usually the same person allows for a much more cohesive design flow and final part or assembly in a shorter time.
